At Mosaic Unlimited, we know communities are best equipped to solve their own problems. Communities with strong connections and cohesion are able to disrupt violence, increase well-being, and achieve success and prosperity. The CDC cites socially disorganized neighborhoods as potential risk factors for violence and behavioral health issues. The North Aurora area is home to many community-based groups, both formal and informal. These groups are well-suited to serve the needs of the community and often do wonderful work with few resources. However, they lack the infrastructure needed to partner and
collaborate, and also face barriers to sustainability which limits their impact.
